The Friendly Forest first opened in 2004 to offer an option for younger children on
Horror in the Hollow “Fright Nights”. The kid-friendly trail through a separate wooded area was re-vamped in 2007. Interactive fairy tale scenes were added, and the new Forest was also opened as a daytime activity on weekends. New scenes are planned each year.
In 2010, the Friendly Forest will also be available for school field trips
for the first time. Don’t forget your ticket for the Friendly Forest and discover what new surprises await visitors there! Please dress appropriately.
